Terms & Conditions

1. Agreement

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Uniklife ("we", "us") governing your use of the Uniklife website (app.uniklife.com), mobile applications, and related services (together, the "Platform"). By creating an account or using the Platform you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy and Cancellation & Refund Policy. An account is free; see section 4 for the only two things that are paid.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering a binding contract. If you use Uniklife on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorised to bind that business to these Terms.

3. Your account

• You are responsible for all activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure.
• Provide accurate information and keep it up to date, including business and GST details where applicable.
• Notify us immediately at info@uniklife.com if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.

4. What is free, and what is paid

• An account on Uniklife is free. There is no paid membership or subscription, and we will not charge you for using the Platform.
• Two things may carry a price: paid courses in Learning, and paid tickets for events. Both are one-off purchases — nothing on the Platform renews automatically, so there is no subscription to cancel.
• Prices are shown in Indian Rupees before you pay, including any GST that applies.
• Event tickets are sold for a specific event and date. Where an event is organised by a host, we handle the booking and payment; the host is responsible for running the event itself.
• Refunds for both are governed by our Cancellation & Refund Policy.
• Purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play are also subject to those stores' payment and refund terms.

5. Your content

• You retain ownership of the content you post (posts, listings, messages, media, reviews).
• You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, display, and distribute that content as needed to operate and promote the Platform.
• You are responsible for your content and confirm you have the rights to post it.
• We may remove content that violates these Terms or applicable law.

6. Acceptable use

You must not:

• Post content that is illegal, fraudulent, misleading, defamatory, harassing, hateful, or obscene.
• List counterfeit, prohibited, or illegal products or services.
• Spam, scrape, or harvest data, or use bots or automated access without our written permission.
• Impersonate any person or business, or misrepresent your affiliation.
• Interfere with the Platform's operation, attempt to bypass security, or reverse-engineer our software.
• Use the Platform to send unsolicited commercial communications.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

7. AI features

The Platform includes AI-assisted features (for example content suggestions and translations). AI output can be inaccurate; review it before relying on it or publishing it. You are responsible for content you publish, including AI-assisted content.

8. Intellectual property

The Platform — including its software, design, logos, and trademarks — is owned by Uniklife or its licensors. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our branding without written permission.

9. Third-party services

The Platform may link to or integrate third-party services (payment gateways, maps, external links posted by users). We are not responsible for third-party content or services; your use of them is at your own risk and subject to their terms.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Platform and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, create legal exposure, or where required by law. Sections that by nature survive termination (content licences for already-public content, disclaimers, limitations of liability, governing law) survive.

11. Disclaimers

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Uniklife will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Platform is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or INR 5,000. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Uniklife against claims, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content, your use of the Platform, your transactions with other users, or your breach of these Terms.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable law, the courts of India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising out of these Terms or the Platform.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the app or by email before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the revised Terms.
